Another League Two boss gone

Postby Sweden Stag » Mon Feb 03, 2020 3:39 pm

Bradford City have today parted company with boss Gary Bowyer following seven games without a win. Among those were a 3-0 rout inflicted by the Stags a little more than a week ago.
Stockholm, July 4, 2008, 15.00 GMT. Good news came, K.H. gone. March 1, 2012. Ground purchased.

This departure doesn’t surprise me in the least considering what Bradford fans were chanting even when the score was at 0 0 when we played them at home recently.

There can't be many teams left in our league who still have the same manager they started the season with?

Colchester, Crewe, Cheltenham, Newport, Exeter, Plymouth, Northampton, Walsall all have the same bosses now as when they started this season.

Only 8 out of 24 League 2 managers have made it to February!! That's a two thirds (66.66%) attrition rate.

Crazy.

I may have forgotten some clubs, but the clubs I mentioned in my previous post were those I could remember straight away

Add Salford, Forest Green, Port Vale, and Swindon.

That makes it exactly 50% of clubs have changed Manager this season.

I wonder if, on the Bradford Forum, there will be posters bitching and arguing at great lengths for days over whether or not interviews were held?

Or is it only a Mansfield thing?

Some managers like a club so much that they manage it 3 or 4 times - Martin Allen and Barnet, Graham Westley and Stevenge and Stuart McCall and Bradford City.
