Along with Muzza these are probably the three most influential loan players we have had. Oh just a minute there was O'Neil Donaldson as well.

Give me a minute and I'll probably come up with a few more!!

Tyler Walker?

But was he a surprise?. He came with a much bigger reputation than the other four who were all unknowns

You didn't say that, you said most influential.

I think they probably were more influential overall. They transformed the sides and style of play when they came in. Walker was here from the start of the season and yes, he scored plenty of goals but I don't think he changed the style.

Tony Ford.

Nothing dazzling, but for his age you wouldn't have expected the kind of consistency.

Jon Schofield

Never gonna win the ballon D'or but gave his all when played at the back. For some reason I was always impressed with his performances.

Chris Greenacre, came as a makeshift after Lee Peacock left.

We ended up with the better player.

Also Matt Green ( to a lesser extent ), proved to be much better than I expected.

Brian Kilcline. I thought he would be past it. Was a rock.

Steve Harper too.

Signed on loan as a striker initially I'm sure.

Became a left wing back before wing backs were super popular.

Can remember him bagging a hat-trick from that position once, one of the goals was so odd it went bar, post, then in.

Don't be silly there can be absolutely no way any team played anything other than a rigid 4-4-2, with poles through their sleeves to keep them in line, before todays techno geeks invented their 3-2-3-1-1 and the like.
