Sterling James scores again...

Really hesitant goalkeeping for their goal

Poor penalty from Mellis.

Sterling James seems to impress during reserve games/EFL trophy, but then usually follows it up with a bad performance in league games. Gone in the summer me thinks, would assume he's out of contract.

Have to agree. He definitely has something but never shows it in the 1sts!

I feel sorry for Omari. His career has gone nowhere in the last 3 seasons. Only 3(19) league appearances in nearly 3 seasons. A bad signing by Steve Evans. Total waste of money.

was a big punt at trying to unearth a non league gem but it hasn't happened. didnt he also sign a new contract just before Evans went to China?

There was something very strange about that deal. Steve Evans hardly played him and then suddenly gave him a new
2 year contract just before he was leaving.

Did Evans get a percentage of the deal? I'm sure I've read somewhere that managers can get a kickback when they sign a player. Seems a weird way of doing business if true.

I must say though that I do like Omari as a player and would like to see more of him in the first team even as a second half substitute. His goals have a simple but class feeling about them and always surprise me when they tend to materialise out of nothing.

Stirling James has not only failed at MTFC over the last three years, he has failed even during his loan periods at other clubs.

Evans gave him a contract he didn't deserve and would also imagine overpaid him too.

Time to go Omari now would be a good time, seven days to get a move.

there is a very very good footballer in there somewhere, he needs to find that consistency, unfortunately in the situation we are in he will probably fulfill his potential esle where.
