Been trying all season to stop howlers.

The reaction of Cloggers fellow defenders shows how they felt after his latest cluck up. Benning and I think Clarke both put their head in hands as if to say, 'what have you done you idiot?

Great support today given how far away it is. Well done to the lads at the back for the singing and the drum.

I expect at least 3 incomings this week.

2 Centre Backs for sure.

This.

Feel sorry for him, especially as he was a defender himself.

IF we can stay up, it’s going to be a very busy summer

Having watched again, it seems that Preston was almost determined to give the penalty away. He has a good swing at the lad in the centre and a lot of ref's may have given the spot kick at that point. Having failed he then follows the player to the edge of the box and nearly pushes him out of the park with his shoulder in the middle of his back.

Questions really have to be asked.

You really have to question if the lad wants a football career or not. Maybe hes just a little short in the brains department but either way what he did was ridiculous. He needs taking out of the side.

There must be a half decent Prem/Championship reserve player we can bring in on loan at centre back. We can't carry on with Preston. Hes a complete liability. The way he carelessly shoves a player going away from goal is unforgivable.

If this manager is serious he surely cant keep picking him. If he does all it shows is hes ok with players continually making the same mistakes and wont drop them for it.

Personally I'd fine the lad his wages this week. Hes been awful all season and that isnt acceptable.

The positive impression I get from the interview is that he understands the situation we’re in and he’s willing to fight.
The negative I get is that he knows half the team isn’t up to it and thinks he’s not going to get enough this window to change it. As we’ve mentioned on other threads tough times ahead before things get better.

Having watched the highlights, if that’s what you can call them, Preston has to go. He simply should never wear the shirt again. He knew exactly what he was doing. I will never give my support to him again because he’s done this time after time.

Preston seemed to have a choice when he gave away another stupid penalty. Why on earth did he choose to commit such an obvious foul on a player that was running out of the box?

He we were blessed with a viable alternative, I would agree that he should be dropped from the squad. You could sense GC’s anger in his post-match interview.

I bet Coughlan regrets stepping through the doors at this moment in time?

I agree he as his hands tied with this bunch , just needs to some how keep our league status.

Just hope he can get a couple of decent signings to achieve this.
