It’s really important that we back up today’s win with another win, particularly as they’ve been so hard to come by at home. It would really emphasise the ‘new year, new start’ and do wonders for the players confidence.

Agreed. It’s going to be a difficult afternoon with them coming back off of a win themselves.

Grimsby are the exact type of side we should beat at home but have failed to all season, hopefully we can do this one.

Whenever we’ve won away we’ve not backed it up and I hope we can on Saturday. Hopefully we can keep confidence going - Plymouth and forest green won’t be so easy to play against

Can someone confirm the kick off time is actually 3pm?
If I remember from the past few seasons we have kicked off at 1pm in this fixture on Police advise.
What has changed for this season? Has the Police finally come to their senses and scrapped these early kick offs?
First match : 04.01.1975 home v Cambridge Utd F.A.Cup 3rd Round 1-0 Clarke

Aye, was 3 at their place and would have been updated on the fixtures also as has happened in previous seasons.

Maybe it has something to do with gabitas leaving the police ;)

Does that mean there will be no access to the family zone for Grimsby fans unless they walk all the way around to enter the ground?

If they are welcome to drink there you would have thought we could at least put a gateman in place to let them get to their seats, especially the less mobile fans. I can (just) see the logic following the game if feelings are running high but not beforehand.

Echo many of the other posts that we have to back up the New Year’s Day win, I’m sure Grimsby will be saying the same. We’ve got some tough games coming up so we could really do with the points so I’ll say 2-1 win as I can’t see us getting a clean sheet.

Evens Dempster beat these. Courtesy of a 96th minute pearce goal. We even had White sent off after the hour mark.
