Rose charging around like a moron getting 6 a season it is then. Remarkable.

There's no point comparing Maynard with Dele Alli & Vardy.
We are comparing Maynard with Rose. One has a knack for scoring goals consistently, the other runs around & falls over a lot. I know which one I would choose.

Interview? what interview ? Do you actually read what is put on here ?

My point is nothing to do with an interview, It's about the rapidity of the approach for GC within hours of JD being sacked. It's my opinion ( which I don't pretend to better than any one else's), that the club acted too quickly. I think they should have acted like Barnsley and Grimsby and appointed a care taker to act as manager for a few games and advertised the post.

It looks like Ian Holloway is destined to be Grimsby' s manager and Neil Warnock has declared he is ready to manage another club. Either would have got our players back on track, mainly because of their experience and the respect they would undoubtedly got from our players.

I'm not saying CG is going to be a bad manager, in fact I wish him well, but he has little experience compared to those I have mentioned and I think they would have got us back on track quicker.

Happy New Year to you and all that post on here.

I think we should have gone for Holloway, he would have commanded respect from these bunch of jokers (our playing staff) immediately and would have had this new manager bounce. If Grimsby could get him I'm sure he would have bought into JR's ambition too.

I won't tell you again.... They didn't sack JD and start looking for a manager then. IT wasn't anywhere near as quick as you think. Its really not good to take ages to get a new manager anyway.

It’s pretty clear that they’d already lined GC up. They were forced to sack Dempster after GC’s presser after their win at Ipswich.

Following my post re Maynard the information was correct.Having said that I would much prefer Maynard to Rose,He links up play better he has missed some good chances as do all strikers.I hope he is starting today with Cook.

Another game, exactly the same passengers.

Macca giving some verbal to the fans at the end was embarrassing, especially given his second half performance.

Preston is about as much of a footballer as our lass.

Benning has been playing for the opposition for the last three months - it was no surprise that he’d actually started scoring for the opposition.

Rose won a few headers, but isn’t good enough.

Huge clear out needed.

Are we actually paying Cook? Surely there are better players in non league.

It was a few of us.

If that's the case we've missed a big opportunity.

Bloke who this info came from should know. Sticking point with Terry was how much it would cost to pay off his Villa contract apparently.

I think there is doubt creeping in over Coughlan appointment can’t see training ground time going to make any difference he should have managed today better than long balls in
JR has appointed too quickly again his record thus far has been no better than JD would have achieved in my view and get its only 5 games in but there should have been a much more marked difference by now and it’s only been marginally better
