the stuff on that twitter feed is just as made-up as it was in the last transfer window, and the one before that. Not a single one of the previous (made-up) predictions about Mansfield have come true, see search.php?keywords=efl_hub...

There are many decent players in the EFL. Equally irrelevant too.
If there's a reliable source linking us with a Bristol Rovers player, it might be interesting. But at the moment I suspect that Coughlan is still identifying which Stags players are going to be in his squad long term.
What happened to Afolayan, anyway? His loan ends soon, but he's not even getting a place on the bench.

I've heard Messi is signing.

Afolayan was running around the pitch with three others before the game as I noted in the report. Presumably Coughlan will be assessing whether he'd like to keep him during training.

Would love Bristol City to activate JCH contract at rovers and loan him to us lol

Also seen on twitter Kyle Dempsey is a target, very good player .... another account that's not reliable though.

Bumped into a bloke in the butchers in Ollerton, who worked at Warsop Main with a one eyed man whose wife worked down the chip shop with a bloke who swore he was Elvis.

He knows nothing either - but is looking to set up a twitter page.

As alluded to in GC interview we will be looking for a central defender who is at least 6ft 4in tall same as Ryan Sweeney in height as most of our central defenders are smaller and giving away inches in height in the air to opposing attackers. Prime example again was against Northampton goal scorer Harry Smith is over 6 ft 4in tall. Pearce 6ft 1in, Preston 6ft 0in, White 6ft 1in, Shaunessey 6ft 2in. Even our attackers coming back at set pieces to help out. Cook 6ft 1in, Rose 5ft 9in but jumps 6ft 3in, or even Neil bishop 6ft 1in defending we are at a natural disadvantage in basic height to a lot of teams.

Joe Laidlaw was 5'8" and the same height when he jumped because he couldn't get off the ground

Incidentally he was 5'8" girth too

Roll on January anyway. Officially half way through the season and we’ve won 5 games which is pathetic really. We look like we have a bit more fight and structure about us now, but we need more quality bringing in, particularly in the middle.
