I suspect the "special relationship" depends on who the manager is at the times and the style of football they play. Quite right too, as the parent club want to progress their player's career.

That’s one promising midfielder to vale and one to Mac , both forest players. Forest have a wealth of talent with big futures in the game.

Forest will only let players go out on loan if there is a ‘guarantee’ that they will get game time. One of their other young lads is going to Southend next week too.

Would like the next midfielder (if there is one) to have a little more experience in first team football. Charsley has next to no first team exposure, and though he may turn out to be a decent signing, I’m not sure having 2 inexperienced players is the way to go with us being in the position that we are - we need somebody to come in and make an immediate impact in that area for us. Obviously the manager will do as he see’s fit but just an opinion.

It's a loan so perhaps they are paying nothing and just gaurenteeing him game time, something I think we couldn't do.

Tom Adeyami is the man we need to go after imo.

No idea why he still hasn't got a club..

One thing is pretty sure, our current bunch of Galacticos are certainly not good enough, and are definitely not up for the fight, GC needs fresh blood to try and inject some pride and passion for the badge because the current group are bottlers

Rumours on twitter that he did not show much desire to return from an injury, and the inference was that he may have mental health issues. As I say, these are unsubstantiated rumours taken from twitter so could be completely false. He was racially abused at Anfield during an FA Cup tie.

Looking at all the moves of late me thinks we have not got anybody decent left in mind within the budget
Charsley seems ok and no disrespect to him but maybe he was about all that fitted the bill literally!!

I still stick by the theory that unless we are chucking big money at folk (which we won't be given the expensive crap we have now) then folk are not coming to us to have a 3 month relegation fight.

Exactly what I'd be doing if I was a footballer with no affiliation to Mansfield.
They aren't going to be watching the highlights and seeing us spurning 10 chances a game thinking "If I was on the end of those, I'd be scoring a hatful."

All they'll be doing is looking at the league table and be thinking, "Surely I can do better than this..."

John Askey at Port Vale complaining about ridiculous wage demands for loan players although he says Forest were reasonable with Jake Taylor despite now increasing the amount they have to pay Forest if vale keep him to the end of the season.
