Hopefully about 8 players that can keep us a football league team

The love-in with players need to stop. Not performing, get them gone.

If Mellis, McDonald, Hamilton are all of a good standard then we shouldn't have issues finding suitors.

We already have a squad full of players that not only should keep us up but as proved last season are good enough to have us in contention to take us up. I'll say it again. ITS THE MANAGER.

I don't see any need to sign players. Lack of personnel isn't the problem.

A box to box central midfielder, a left back and a right winger.

I do think we need a centre half and a midfielder. Like it or not the loss of Donahue was a massive blow to this team as he was a major signing. Although Shaghnessy has shown some good signs he is no where near a like for like replacement.

We also seem a bit light in defence as it just isn't happening for us this year. We seem to have a lot of players missing games through illness and defence is the area that worries me most as no-one (with the exception of Sweeney) seems bought into this year's objectives.

With White not playing any games we need a right back.
The centre halves are not performing.
The midfield needs 2 more additions.
Hopefully that will give more chances for the forwards to score.
Only wish we could afford it.
Would rather we spend the money on a new manager and make the most of what we've got.
It's a good enough squad for the play offs.

If raiders wants to save money...let delayer go and keep the current squad, offset this perceived 1 mill loss of changing the manager with keeping the ample squad we have but with a manager that knows what he’s doing...
Also get new manager to stop complicating matters and pick a formation that suits our best players, create a squad/team spirit and get them to play in an attacking manner....can’t think of any teams playing negative crap doing anything...

We should ha W enough to best most sides if we can just get a motivator behind the wheel

Agree that this is the first thing to be done. Changing the manager will help give the existing players a kick up the backside but we’ve got far and failed with this group of players and now performing poorly, id say several were never up to it and some are past their use by date and the squad needs some changes!

Are people so naive to think a man will walk in here with a magic wand and these players will turn it around and become world beaters?

The rot has set in. 3 or 4 are poisoning the dressing room.

We need changes on the pitch

I wouldn’t trust Dempster with transfers in January. Who’s going to want to come? We’re currently 18th, we’d need to win next 4-6 games to get us up the league to attract the quality players.

No point bringing in good players when you have a useless coach/manager.

No point in bringing in some decent lads when those already here aren't trying. They'd just be peeing into t'wind.
