So if bish hasn't started running until today, he needs to be cleared by the doctor on thursday. The protocol means light exercise today, "football specific exercise" tomorrow, non-contact training on thursday (followed by clearance by a doctor) and the full contact training on Friday, then he's clear to play Saturday.
So, following protocol, bish won't train properly until Friday.
In a nutshell the protocol is: once concussion is diagnosed they rest until symptom free.
Then a minimum 24 hour period where he can only do light exercise,
That's followed by another 24 hour period where he can do fooball-specific exercise (eg leg work at the gym),
Then it's another 24 hour period where he can only do non-contact training (eg passing and moving (stop sniggering at the back )) then a doctor gives him a once over and decides if he can move onto full contact training.
If given the all clear he needs a minimum 24 hours in full training and after this is clear to play, providing he continues to show he's over it.
