If it’s Tottenham away I will be absolutely fuming.
I’ve currently done 86/92 as well so any other “tick” I will be annoyed.
Hoping Shrewsbury pull Preston at home out or something.

We’ve avoided a crappy 3rd round game. JD must have known.

And instead we’ll play... Grimsby at home! Know where I’d rather be considering how our league campaign is going
That said, would have been a right kick in the teeth if it was one of the big teams!

Solihull 3-0 up against Rotherham after over an hour and lost 4-3!
Fantastic game of football and another example of why the FA Cup is the best competition in the world.

Is there any footage of this game anywhere out of interest? Had a quick search for it before but couldn’t find anything.

I'm sure Martin has footage from most games and might upload it if we ask him nicely.

Assuming we'd play Bristol City away is ignoring the multiverse theory. A knock on of ever changing events introduced by the slightest variation of our own reality. Just because we (theoretically) beat Shrewsbury doesn't naturally equate to the same time line that "we" draw Bristol City. See the film "run Lola run" or I suppose, if you absolutely have to... "sliding doors" also, Epstein didn't kill himself

Of course it would as we would have had the same number ball as Shrewsbury.

If you take the numbers as 1 = A starting in the Premiership I would have calculated our number ball would have been near the top end of the 60s
Example Everton ball 5 Liverpool ball 6
No teams in the Premiership starting with F G H I J K
However why wasn't Leicester City ball 6.....
So who knows the formula of the FA Cup draw
A Stag for life not just through good times.... 4 4 2 living the dream.....

The teams for the top 2 divisions were listed in alphabetical order so Wolverhampton were no 44. The lower league teams were listed in the order of the matches drawn out for the 2nd round. So if we had won we would have had the same number as Shrewsbury. For the 4th round the winning teams will have the number that corresponds to the order they were drawn out for the 3rd round

Why did Bournemouth get ball 1 and Arsenal ball 2?
First match : 04.01.1975 home v Cambridge Utd F.A.Cup 3rd Round 1-0 Clarke

Why did Bournemouth get ball 1 and Arsenal ball 2?
Because it’s AFC Bournemouth?

You're referring to a reality which is not our own where stags won, who's to say in this alternate reality (where things happen that didn't happen in our reality) that our ball would be pulled out of the pot when it was

there still seems to be some confusion. If we had beaten Shrewsbury, we would have got Bristol City away, because the ball number in the draw would have been the same as Shrewsbury got.
