When sides get relegated stating things like “we should have won this match” are completely irrelevant

Neither promotion or relegation are likely but relegation is more likely with how we’ve played this season.

The problem being is some fans seem to have developed this highly simplistic view of “we played better therefore we should have won” when it doesn’t work.

This side loses when it plays well but also loses when it plays badly.

Well if you get no numbers you don’t win.

I can give you the website for the lottery (hopefully you understand I’m taking the piss out of you for such a stupid post).

It’s highly unlikely we will go down and I don’t think for a minute we would.

It doesn’t take away the fact we are closer to the bottom 1 than we are the top 7, we’re nearly 1/2 way through now.

The Radford’s have to act.

Dempster is tearing us apart. Look at it.

The performances
The league position
The falling numbers
Board saying things to undermine the manager on social media
Booing and abuse toward the manager
Staff Vs fans at games and on social media
Fans Vs fans at games and on social media

Hiring Dempster was the Greatest mistake made at MTFC in the last 25 years.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Carolyn appears to be posting cryptic clues on social media. Change afoot?

She has liked a comment that said ‘new manager #DumpsterOut’

Hopefully the board are coming to their senses!

I mean that is so unprofessional in itself.

Hope she does act though.

Maybe she should come on here and have a pop at the manager, oh hang on other board members have already done that before.

Hiring Dempster was the Greatest mistake made at MTFC in the last 25 years.

No sacking DF was. The second greatest mistake was giving the job to inexperienced JD.

The point is the next management appointment is crucial. Get it wrong and the situation will be worse than it currently is.

Let the Radfords sort it out. Our job is to get behind the current manager and players. Surely an improvement in performance is something to build on.

I was there today.Swindon were much the better side for 30 minutes.Second half they were hanging on playing for time going down with imaginary injuries. There was only one team trying to score and it wasn't Swindon. All the away fans stood and clapped the players and Dempster at the end.I hate losing but I was happier after the game this week than last week. All the team played well apart from Gordon and Shaughnessy.Maynard could have had a hat trick. If we play like this for the rest of the season we will win more than we lose.We are missing White very much.Logan had an excellent game too.

It’s okay giving the Notts County example for not sacking the manager.

Let’s look at it though. Notts County sacked 2 managers and got 2 managerial appointments horrendously wrong. Kewell was appointed as a Hardy trophy, despite being fairly average at Crawley, and Ardley was appointed despite obviously not fitting in with that club or style of players (as still being proved now)

We won’t end up like Notts County if we sack Dempster, as long as we take our time and do the due diligence to appoint someone that we need and fits our club.
