We've got a full side out against a team BOTTOM of the conference.....

Look at as his average rating last season. Terrible for a regular player of a team supposedly expecting promotion.

Best of a bad bunch doesn't make him a good player

No i am not there. I refuse to give money to watch garbage

Please don’t tell me you just used Stagsnet reports average ratings to justify Mellis’ exile from the squad

if ‘he’s the best of a bad bunch’ then maybe he should be on the chuffing pitch!

Can’t blame you, the whole thing is depressing.

The midfield playing doesn't track back. Generally they just stay back. Sounds like bottom of the conference means they can come forwards a smidge more often.

Hmmm, this site is going to be toxic at half time at this rate. Even worse at full time if we don't pull our fingers out.

Please people keep swearing ourlt and abusing others. Please.

Maybe we’re going for a smash and grab job....perfect tactics against high quality opposition imo

Makes himself available for a team mate to pass to then passes it to another yellow shirt. Basics of a midfielder that I've not seen much this season.

Agree. When Mellis turns up we tend to play well, the criticism is it’s not often enough.

We’re clearly lacking balance in midfield, at the moment there looks to be 3 work horses who can’t seem be able to pass to one another.

HT so far so good. Fingers crossed we hold on for another 45 and maybe just maybe nick a winner

My accumulator paid out before HT, so swings and roundabouts.

Completely agree. Why on earth can’t Dempster see this? What went through his head when he picked THIS midfield today at home against a bunch of part timers?

Zero penetration unless it’s a lump into the channels. The midfield and back 4 keep it amongst themselves for 8+ passes, just to end up banging it long.

No clear or competent philosophy.

Why isn’t Shaughnessy playing? Have Leeds said he can’t? In which case are they thinking of recalling him in January?
