At the beginning of the season with JD having been appointed I said that I would be happy with a mid table position if there was going to be the introduction of the younger players . Whilst we have only seen a glimpse of this and albeit some of them have not been introduced due to some booing being evident on match days that could demoralised them , I did expect a few more appearances from the Dempster babes especially with the teams form todate.

JD comes across as being a very nice chap and like some supporters I have given him my backing . I really thought he would have the team playing exciting football with the creation of a glut of chances. Sadly this has not been the case .

I only attend the home matches but listen to most of the away games via radio . I do receive feedback from ardent Stags away supporters re away performances which have mainly been an improvement on the home form .
That said I am increasingly feeling now that JD is fighting to keep his job as manager . I hope he can do a Fergie and work his way out of the current dour scenario but I'm not inspired that he can do this.

I will keep on supporting the team and getting behind them . JD needs our help folks as do the players but I feel that other than a win at Port Vale and at home to Cheltenham will see the end of JDs role as manager of the first team .

Alarm bells rang when he was appointed and the other staff who dempster rehired were given the boot. Proved then he didn't have a clue.

The month of October where we supposedly turned a corner wasn't actually that great was it..

Lost at home to an average Salford side 2-1
Drew 2-2 with FGR.. they should have won.
Beat 9 men oldham 6-1. Another poor side.

He didn’t do himself any favours when he bitched about the fans for booing at home and then said they do better away (then they drew 0-0 at macc, lost 1-0 at Swindon and 2-0 at shrewbury) so he’s not really in credit just now after such a ridiculous statement
