Too true Sneag, but the question is, how do we get the communities back.
Those accustomed to privilege may feel that equality is oppression.

True, but still a sad loss. Most of the pitches I used to play on are dog crap strewn wastelands or have become 'Exclusive stunning New Developments

The difference with Bury they played all their games n it wasn't until the season ended the problems within the club came to an head

Therefore as with Bolton if Bury had started this season campaign they would have started with a points reduction.

The problems at Macclesfield are being escalated due to the players refusing to play because they haven't been paid therefore the FA have shown that rules are rules and points will be deducted if games aren't fulfilled

in other words FA doesn't want to be found with egg on their face again

I don't think I've seen any kids playing football on the Rec in years. I walk my dog up there regularly (& pick up hee crap).

When I was growing up on Ladybrook (Stone Crescent) we regularly played football on the street. Not much traffic in those days (keep a lookout for the mobile shops) and some matches went on all day.

Looks like there won’t be any relegation this season at this rate. That might influence the way this season goes for us.

With no relegation possible it could introduce a new dynamic where those hoping to steal points for safety can "Open up" a bit more and be more expressive. That's one hell of a safety net.

Why was it reduced to zero capacity ?
Were they unable to pay stewards to provide safety ?

I think so. When we played Macc we asked a steward about the problem. He said they were employed by the security firm and although he had been paid he wasn't sure the security company had been

Cheers.

I’d think that that four point suspended punishment will be invoked.

Macclesfield Town have today appealed the points deduction handed to them last month.

"In light of the upholding of sanctions handed to Bolton Wanderers by an arbitration panel earlier today, Macclesfield Town can confirm that we have lodged an appeal into the penalties which were imposed on us last month. Back in December, we were handed an immediate six point deduction - alongside a further four point penalty which was suspended. We strongly believe that today's ruling supports our appeal and relevant documentation in relation to this has now been submitted."
