Midfield has been a car crash since pre season, not been addressed & will continue to be so until the earliest January transfer window, sick of saying it tbh, but hey let’s not moan, let’s back the manager he knows what he’s doing, he’s a really nice guy and the board love him !

Noticed that Newport almost signed Joe Ledley... id go get him... pricey wages but he'd sort our midfield out immediately.

Think we lack a couple of these kind of signings too... Jason Shackell at Lincoln was class, hes 36 but far too good for league two/one for a couple more years.

It's different being 36 playing in defence and playing in midfield. He's not played football for ages, and he's the same profile of midfielder we already have (but probably a lot better at it).

I know I was referring to your point on Shackell. As I say, he may well still be a very good player but he would be on big wages and hasn't played a game in 15 months.
