It was a very poor save but that cross should never have been allowed in the box. The players switched off for five minutes after the two red cards. I’m not sure Stone is better, but Bobby is an upgrade.

Sorry if I missed it but does anyone know why Bobby O wasn't even on the bench yesterday?
No place in the 18 for Bobby Olejnik, who returned from injury in the Leasing.com Trophy. No news whether Olejnik was injured or not, that will probably have to wait for the midweek press conference.

Stupid comment of the day award goes straight to you.
How do some people brains work.... Chance of bobby, a very good pro throwing a mard after playing one game in a raspberry cup. I mean come on...

Indeed. What a bone uninformed bit of silly speculation.

I'm only guessing when I say I think he means it was offside. My first reaction from the QLE was to look at the linesman as I jumped out my seat.
You will have had a better view of the line from your seat I imagine Martin.

Fage tried to bring Maynard down and didn't succeed, so the referee played advantage. It didn't look as though it was a head injury initially so you can see why the ref played on.
Conker wrote:Referee didn’t see it but the blokes head bounced off the pitch viciously, play stopped immediately if spotted.
Referees need to be spotting that too, concussion is no joke.
oldweststander wrote:Have to say, hang on a minute, there was no clash of heads, no feet in the air etc, the guy unfortunately fell awkwardly, how the hell can anyone expect the referee to spot a head hitting the dirt.
Pure nonsense.
