Still employed by Stoke City.

We still have a manager.

He's a moaning little weasel. Anyone remember him from a few seasons ago when he was nearly crying at the end of the game because it didn't go his way? His ego is massive.

Personally I think we need to rebuild the squad. And I think that will happen at the end of this season as I think quite a few players will be out of contract. An experienced manager could help too but it looks like the board are sticking with JD for now

The squad seems to be rotten within. Loads of stories about certain players attempting to rule the roost. One in particular with little man syndrome.

It needs an overhaul for sure. Stay up this season and build for next season

Would you want him to be the man to rebuild the squad?

Rebuild the squad!!! Glad it’s not my money. Why should JR keep throwing money at it? The foundations of a good squad are already there. We just need a few decent new faces. First thing first, we need an experienced manager at this level.

I don't think they can handle the pressure. Most of the team we have this season bottled it along with flitcroft (it wasn't all his fault) and a few of them from the season before where we threw it away again. We're still tasked with promotion but we don't look anything like a promotion team now and I personally feel it's got in to some of the players' heads.

Something isn't right, it could be the manager, it could be the dressing room. It could be something else but who knows eh

And like I say those 'foundations' we have will most likely be gone next summer. I would assume Logan, Olejnik, Preston, Pearce? White, Benning, Macca, Mellis, Bishop, Hamilton and a few more contracts will be running out shortly. Will they all sign up again?

it’s like a watching a slow train crashing !!!!!!

It’s a nice thought, however it’s not working

The board tried ( thanks for that to try a Liverpool boot room approach ) so-now its time to admit it & move on, before this season is a total right off

Tru dat. Because rather annoyingly County are finding their feet in Div 5 and are closing on the leading pack.

Stoke boss Nathan Jones: "I don't think there was much wrong with the performance apart from the errors, three big errors, and that's been the same for the nine games (in the league this season).

"Look, I speak to the board regularly. If anyone thinks I can't change this then I've got no problem. I know it's a results-based business so I'm not going to hang around if I'm not wanted.

We still have a manager.

I actually can’t believe Dempster is still the manager. What’s taking so long to look at his record, decide it’s absolutely horrendous and move him aside?

Absolutely bang on. This squad was one goal away from autos. Add to that two experienced goalscorers. Should be top half at the very least. Top three if we didn't throw away a decent manager. Whether the players don't like the change or the manager is just not good enough the reason we are woeful has to be the manager.

sneag if this continues we could easily end up in the brown stuff, i remember the last time the season never got going then it was to late, county were also tipped for promotion last season and ended up with 41 points which seems a million miles away at the moment.
