CJ isn't a
great player he's a half decent Lge 2 player nothing more.
The likes of Ray Clarke, Liam Lawrence etc were great players.
He's not just half decent. Give it a rest.
if he was 'great' he'd no longer here. some championship club would've made an offer t'club would've been stupid to refuse

Opinions eh, we've all got em. You think cos he can run fast he's great. Me I need to see a better than average end product before placing him in any other stratosphere. I'm not saying it's not in him, but a flash here a flash there doesn't make 'great', consistently being good does.

Exactly. On his day or at certain times hes almost unplayable and looks well beyond a L2 player. I haven't seen that player yet this season and he went missing a for a good chunk of last season too.
The lad looks well short on confidence. Hes not running as much, not running at / past player enough. He looks like a lost lamb at the moment.

CJ did really well in the build up to the first goal. It was his cross that was turned in by Preston. He's not running with the ball as confidently, but he still needs to be playing, especially if he's ever going to get back to form.

Who is running with the ball confidently??
No room for that style of play with this manager.
Its defend for your life and then boot it in the general direction of Danny Rose, with the hope he can bring it down for Maynard. Go help us if Danny Rose gets injured.

CJ is a good league 2 player. Who, on his day, is simply unplayable. He has more good days than bad but not by much.
Some players to most people are only as good as their last great game or as good as their last bad game. He is human he has good days and bad days. Rewind 3 years ago when he signed he had more bad days than good. As he's developed he's had more good days than bad. He's a good league 2 player at present.
