Agree that Shaughnessy looks good.
Also Jake Buxton is at the game.

He’s one of those players where the ball seems to stick to his foot when he makes a tackle. His passes out wide add a different outlet.

Great poachers finish. Wasn't easy but he made it his own.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Great result so far.
Good that we can bring bishop on for the last 20 mins.
Another goal would be the icing on the cake.

Funny one that. We look exhausted, mistakes creeping in.

Benning having a nightmare. Just sold logan short, ball cannoned around in the area and we just about cleared. Then Benning played a long ball down the left to nobody.

Not a fan of shutting up shop... Keep going and get another.
Will be a big result!

Benning has been pretty sloppy so far this season, and probably why he didn't start today

Perspective needed. A win was the minimum requirement today and now needs to be backed up with a run of games where points are gained to make up for a dismal start. Those are the facts.
Positive to get 3 points, yes. But it's not enough until we've caught up to the rest of the pack.

Happy with the result... but that defined ‘papering over the cracks’.
Against a very poor side we created next to nothing, and even when 2-0 up Dempster made very uninspiring and negative substitutions which for me showed his mindset as being very defensive and not creative in the slightest. Really disappointed with us as an attacking outfit today.
If I’m honest I still don’t have belief Dempster is the man to take us forward despite the win but we’ve got to go and back up today’s good result up next week now and hopefully we do!

To shut up shop and get the win. Which worked.
What possibly could be your problem?

2 points off play offs 6 points off automatic.
I'd take that at Xmas never mind now.

Please don’t suggest you’re happy with the most average of starts just because we’ve beaten bottom of the league at home, after failing to beat Morecambe, Orient, and Stevenage?

Congratulations John Scintillating football. Only another 41 points and were safe.
Thought you where tactically naive in the second half, playing that one man up front. Felt sure we could have squeezed him in at the back ,somewhere.

Still a few defensive lapses but overall a much improved performance. Going ultra defensive was a risky move. I felt we played a bit too definsively over the whole game. I feel like we aren't big on fitness this year and we are going to be the kind of team who let's teams attack us but we counter through direct balls to the forward line.
It's largely the same formation but the style is different.
