Not only because they are cack and actually performing worse than us at the moment, (somehow) but every Chesterfield fan and Pompey fan I know rated him and said he is far too good to even be in League 2.
Probably explains his demeanour
Football has plenty of examples of players who think they can swan around and breeze through their contract, based on 1-2 years previously good form. Those players that match their top notch quality with good attitude have a glut of clubs lining up to sign their services, so very few and far between. Sounds like we're best rid of Donohue if he's got a chip so large his nickname could have been McCain.
It'd be great if clubs would instil players with the right attitude from a very early stage. If it were up to me i'd get em doing 3 months YTS bricklaying on a muddy building site in Feb, and tell em that's what their career will be if they muck about!
