Good luck to them.

I’d have had Keith Hill here, amazing job at Rochdale year after year and knows L1 & L2 inside out.

Eddie Howe was rubbish at Burnley, went back to Bournemouth and has done a great job. Can’t knock him for having a go.

I’ve always rated him, first full season he took Rochdale to the play off final, he also made the play offs the following season, the 3rd season he took them up automatically.

So pleased for DF that he's back in football. Almost a full season with a club that realistically has no hope of staying up. Plenty of time for them get their feet under the table and implement their style with absolutely no pressure. I believe DF and Keith Hill have what it takes to avoid relegation to League 2. Sincerely hope they do it.

I generally wish our managers the best when they leave us (with the odd exception!) and like you I really I do wish DF well, he took us to our highest league position for over 15 years and but for a late poor run of form and a club paying players it could not afford, would have guided us to League 1. He and Hill will do well there.

Fingers crossed. I’ll keep the car topped up in case they can’t get a driver

I suppose it depends on how much the new owners have got to spend.

You could probably add the names of Benning, Preston to that of CJ.

Many a true word said in jest.

I don’t. And that’s why I am not making strident statements that suggest fact rather than opinion.

Good luck, both good managers and should do well together. Big task at Bolton right now but they'll see success eventually with the new owners.

A tough job but can’t really lose, everyone’s expecting them to go down so as long as they go down fighting I’m sure they’ll be in a good position next season
