If a striker is signing today I don’t really understand this.

We have Rose, Maynard (back very soon?), Cook (back soon?), Hamilton (can play up front), OSJ (played well on Tuesday), Knowles. That’s 6 fit or near fit strikers when we play max 2 up front. Why do we need another one?

Depends on the type of striker for me North London Stag. I think cook is out for several months and davies our for a bit too so I think we’re lacking height or a hold up player. Rose is the only one if the remaining that is good enough in the air for me.

Is this inside info from the Chad, or is it just a twist on Dempsters interview from this morning in order to get more clicks on their website?

I believe he actually only said this morning he is looking at maybe getting one in today and maybe one over the weekend. (saved you clicking) One being a striker that is different to what we have, on loan, the rumour being a young West Ham lad who scored none in 10 last season on loan at Oldham.

It's not a target man, it's a quick striker.

Didn't he say attacking player... that doesn't mean a striker

I'd be happy with Jermaine Defoe.

I'm not too bothered about his age, just as long as he's fit. The other two mega strikers havn't been!

Ian Wright?

Blimey is Cook out for several months. Not saying you are wrong but I thought I read 3 to 4 weeks. Maybe that has changed. He’s only played for half an hour or so?

Let’s hope he can maintain that strike rate then!

Alan Nixon has already revealed who we're after, it's in one of the other threads. Youngster from West Ham.
