It is this kind of rhetoric that gets Phil Neville all riled up. Please think before you type if only to keep Neville off of the nations TV screens.

How do you expect them to react after that shower yesterday? We've gone from an absolute colossal defence to one of the worst in the league - people are calling for his head as they can't be bothered to waste another season getting things right. I'm not on the bandwagon yet, but it'll tempted to if we lose at home to a side that hasn't scored yet this season.

I think you are way off the mark. Most fans realise promotion is earned and very seldom bought. Thankfully most realise it's more than just having " the biggest budget in the league". Most want to see their team entertain by playing attractive football and progress. Progression doesn't necessarily mean promotion each year. They also want a nice day out, without the Neanderthals full of beer swearing at the guys out on the field. I accept so far the performances at home have not matched the entertaining football played last year. Unfortunately that brings the awful atmosphere. It's a double edged sword ( poor on the pitch, bad atmosphere in the stadium ), that makes attending a chore.JLStag wrote:I think the majority of Stags fans think it's our given right to be promoted and when it doesn't go our way after 3 weeks heads start rolling off shoulders.
