Strong wind behind in the second half should help defend the lead.

How?

The unexpected drop ball was perfect for the pass forward, Carlisle napping, Maynard straight on to the knock on.

Second goal was a quality strike from a perfect lay off from a break away . Proper team goal

Maynard 2-0.

From the drop ball (which was oddly given to be honest) white plays it forwards to Rose who heads it down to maynard who smashes it on the half volley from 19 yards into the far left corner. Another good goal.

On the drop ball. The ball is played forwards and Gordon looks to get on the end of it bilit it gets caught in the wind. Gordon adjusts to head it and Knight percival jumps with him and pushes him in the back. Gordon stretches to get the ball and Knight percival catches the back of Gordon's head. Perhaps the red feels it was a head injury after being very late to stop play previously.

I've just heard the end of Martin explaining why it was a drop-ball, can somebody who heard it in full explain?

Kellen Gordon is a fantastic find. Did really well winning the ball there. He's had a good game.

Our central defenders are a bit iffy when clearing. However the wind appears to be very strong so could play a part. There's been a few missed/mishit clearances.

I think Gordon has been a solid signing tbf. Slotted straight in and gives some good competition.

Hopefully we're resisting playing the 5.5.0 formation.

Next goal vital. Keep attacking.

Come on stags.

Macca just won the ball and played a beautiful ball for Gordon on the right who crosses and Rose was ready but it's headed behind for a corner. Great play by Macca.

Still got CJ and Khan on the bench to help kill the game off.
