Carlisle United Away

Postby Matt_T » Mon Jul 29, 2019 5:52 pm

Hi, me and my dad are coming up to Carlisle from Kendal. I was wondering if any stags supporters are going for a pint before the game. Its my dad's 1st game since Barrow in the conference about 11 years ago.

Thanks

Matt

There’s normally a fair few Stags fans in The Beehive prior to the game at Carlisle, good pub that shows sky etc. i’d Say that’s your best bet!

Hope you bring some luck, I’ve never seen us win there yet!

ok fair enough, but with barrow, morecambe, carlisle, gateshead etc closer to hand one would've thought he'd have made few more if as you say, 'he's been supporting stags since he was a kid'.

He moved to Kendal in the 80's my dad got me into football following Kendal since 1998. Didn't really have time to watch Mansfield with 3 kids to look after.

Kendal Town have been destroyed by it's current chairman and committee. So we are are not going anymore. So I suggested that we follow Mansfield away.

My dad crew up in Mansfield Woodhouse.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Not a bad wee run up to Carlisle for you mate, quite a few games away in the NW this season so you should be ok travelling with your dad for them.
Always look forward to going to Brunton Park as it's my closest game by miles.
Enjoy you're day.
