For me, Forest have done nothing wrong. They could have fielded two sides in the game, one in each half, with only a smattering of established first team players and no one would have cared. Currently the new Forest Manager is trying to find out what his first team is, so if he doesn’t know yet how can the self righteous condemn him for not fielding a side he doesn’t know yet?

If you go you are paying half price for a non-competitive game of football. If the price is the same for Everton under 23’s in the Checkatrade (which is competitive football believe it or not) will you attend or will you have another reason to listen to yourself whinge?

Forest and Mansfield have been honest, which in today’s football climate of the the FA, Sky and the Premier League treating all those that subscribe as cash cows idiots just enjoy the refreshing change.

So, will Tyler Walker be playing for the opposition?

These things happen so we move on, still good practice for our players and as already been pointed out it gives us a chance to see what may be on offer.

Special relationship, never spoken about before Tyler Walker came on loan, figment of some over exited fans I feel, it does not and never has existed IMO.

NFFC have always been the No1 team in Nottinghamshire, we have taken their players when it suited them, sometimes handing them back as better players , that is what loaning players out is supposed to do for the parent club, if it makes the loaning club stronger that's fine too but if we get a Gorge Grant situation they are not bothered.

With Grant we probably confirmed what Forest already knew and they sold him.

It’s no figments of anyone’s imagination, the term special relationship was used by Carolyn and that is where it comes from.

Ok, it's a figment of the CEO's imagination.

She was probably trying to cultivate a "special relationship", fair do's, that still doesn't mean she was successful or it exists, my view is it doesn't and never has.

I take it none on here have heard the saying, 'Beware of Greeks bearing gifts?'. No need to get upset, this is just a case of history repeating.

2 steps between us and Forest. 7 steps between us and Retford, it was never going to be a strong team sent there.

It could be a good move to have a look at the Forest youngsters in action.

I purchased several tickets for some of my friends who are Forest fans.I now have to get refunds for them as they wanted to see mainly first team players play against Mansfield.

No they're a brilliant team. I just hope they bring Arvin Appiah & Brennan Johnson as they are special players.

They are a decent group of players but I’d still expect experienced fully developed league two professionals to beat them.

You think we might be seeing a few of there transfer listed players feature as well.

They hadn’t. The keeper and defence were all youth team, as were a couple of the forward players.
