No it wasn't. It was simply the greatest thing he did in his career. Ever!!
They were doomed well before Lester took over.

He still deserves every bit of credit given for completing the job.

Don't know but North Stand tickets are available to buy for this game on stags tickets.

Good idea of not letting Rangers sell tickets, as we might not get the money from them as they are very tight for cash at the minute.

Read an article on their site saying there will be a few of the first team squad mixed in with the young lads. Might help to put some more on the gate on their part.

Hi lads, Rangers supporter here.

Initially a good number of fans were planning to head down to this, but since then the club has intimated that it will be a mixture of reserve and under 21 players that will feature.

There's still a few of us coming down though (including myself and a couple of mates.)

We've got a friendly with Derby at Ibrox on Sunday that will feature mainly fringe 1st team players.

Our 1st team will be saved for our 2nd round 2nd leg Europa tie in Luxembourg on Thursday.

There is talk up here that a decent relationship has formed between the clubs and Mansfield may get an opportunity to get a couple of our young prospects on loan.

We've got some good lads and our under 21s have recently beaten Bayern Munich and Leicester under 21s, as well as Cambridge Utd 1st team.
They also hammered Huddersfield under 21s 7-1 last week.

Hopefully it could be a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Looking forward to visiting a new ground and good luck to you in the season ahead.

All the best.

Much improved performance needed tommorow. Get it on the deck and play, only needs to be in the air from goalkicks and crosses from the wings.

Last friendly before the season proper opener at Newport.

Should be a difficult game after Gers Unionist said they've beaten some good opposition recently.

Hope we see cook and Maynard start a partnership and maybe we can help develop a couple of their prospects.

COYS.

Have to say this sounds very encouraging.

Its clearly not coincidence that we played the behind closed doors game followed by this , Just another sign that we are moving in the right direction.

Hope its a good afternoon

Assuming your travelling down by car ? Just be wary where you park. Most shoppers car parks near the ground are restricted parking, read the signs first

Clear to see again that a midfield with Bishop and Macca doesn’t work in my opinion. Neither of them are good enough on the ball or have enough in them to take the team forward. Both work hard yes, but only room for one in my opinion. 2 of the midfield 3 need to be tidy on the ball, hopefully Donohue and Khan provide that.
