Nobody wanted us to sign him, he signs for someone else and now people are fuming he had a free holiday :lol:

No big loss. We needed strikers for the Portugal training and took the lad on trial. Players like Maynard and Cook are hardly the kind to go on trial somewhere at our level. The idea of a trial is to see what a player is all about, we know about Maynard and Cook already.

He's a 22 year old striker who was available that week and was in the youth team of a team higher in the football pyramid. Youth and reserve goals mean jack, anyone remember Danny Mitchley?

I remember Danny Mitchley scoring on his Stags debut... I believe he's become quite prolific at the level's he's played at since he was with us. He's scored getting on for 150 goals in six seasons.
I backed my car into a cop car the other day, he just drove off, sometimes life's okay...
