Rose was brilliant Evans season before he ran off and DF came in - had a good goals tally too.

Cj will be out wide where he belongs under JD I think...

JD lister CJ as his fourth striker yesterday, who could ‘do a job’ there.

He see’s him as an option there for sure, particularly with Davies being out. Personally think he wants to use him mainly out wide though.

Be interesting though as he made reference to how strong the back 3 was saying he’d be a fool not to use it with how good their record was last year (whilst having the option to go to a 4), perhaps it will be a straight decision between Benning and CJ for the left wing back role?

I would be tempted to keep Rose for a while yet unless it was a really good bid for the club to take seriously.
Davies looks more and more uncertain to play much this season.

You’d look at the starting strikers Cook n Maynard with Davies and Rose like for like coming off the bench the worry is if Cook gets injured we currently have No Davies and maybe the reason for looking at Quigley ??

Why all the love for Danny Rose? He's scored 5 goals since Feb 2018, if that was someone else playing for us we would be saying get rid and if we were looking at signing a player with those stats, everyone would be 'no thanks'.

If someone want to pay money for him, I would sell him in a heartbeat, you can't keep a player just because he works hard.

Maybe because he had a good season before this one , and last season his head was obviously turned by Evans but it never materialised and then he suffered a bad injury. Plus he's a likeable lad, fair enough he's not the best striker we've ever seen but he always tries his hardest in the yellow and blue

Belly - Rose deserves a chance to win his place (in my ever-so-humble opinion, of course)

Whatever we think, it's clear that JD is pretty sweet on Danny Rose.

JD is not as sweet on Danny Rose as the Family Von Trapp is!

Interesting to see if JD will use omari, he could well be one of the first out

Were a bit short on wingers and I think he could be utilised well there, if not for backup or a sub

Graham should go out on loan and get experience.

Knowles should be tested in the first team like Graham was and then either kept in the frame or given a loan spell.

If the two young lads go on loan and Davies isn't fully fit, we need another striker.

I second this.

if I remember rightly, Evans played him there a few times and I thought he looked decent.

Carolyn has said we won't be buying any more strikers now, unless of course one is sold I would imagine

Some teams would be glad to have Rose and (a fit) Davies as their main strikers, never mind their 3rd and 4th choices. They're both good options to come on if we need to change it, and they wont be first choice so I'm not sure where we'd get a better options as back ups, also with young Knowles and Graham waiting in the wings.
