Could be to test their mettle against a physical side. Not as taxing as Sheffield Wednesday though.

Shame it's not st Stockport lovely ground especially on a summer night with the open away end..... I remember a few years ago we played them home n away in the 1st round of the league cup I think it finished 8 7 on aggregate to Stockport but a lovely warm August night

My favourite ever cup tie. Brett Angel and co proving just to good for us after Iyseden Christie had put us in a commanding position if I remember correctly!

Maybe playing them at home might not be a bad thing as they will likely put 11 men behind the ball as most teams will this season....
