Fat B’stard will be waiting for Lampard to go to Chelsea in anticipation of a Derby County approach for his services.

I wouldn’t say the most entertaining but certainly can’t argue with the stats.

Not sure where those stats are from. Don't look quite right.

Correct manager stats are here

Effective, mostly - yes. Most entertaining, not by any stretch of the imagination. The players didn’t play with a smile on their faces either.

What an utter load of absolute raspberry. This does not take into account anything, not the Chairman, not the league, not the money, nothing - it is absolute drivel. I'd say in my lifetime Evans was our worst manager, a disgusting individual, given fantastic support by our owners yet was disloyal and just an utter, utter scumbag. I think I despise him more than I do Curle  What Dearden did on 50p and half a bag of Wurthers was proper management, what fat t did with our biggest ever budget was failure followed by run away.

Not that we often see eye-to-eye but despite the stats I would say Dearden's management in those 2 and a half seasons was the best I've saw in my time watching Mansfield - it's basically like Jim Bentley getting Morecambe promoted - and then with a total d**k of a chairman above you who you despise thoroughly.

Would have loved what Evans would have done starting a season with 6 players, 1 and a half stands and a crowd little over 2,000 - not that we'd have been desirable enough for him and his ego to come here in the 1st place!

Beat me to it. Success is measured by whether you achieve your aims. Our aim was promotion and he scuppered that for his own personal gain. The Boris Johnson of lower league football.
