Personally i'm not sure about Parky.

Assuming he came here and got us playing better, would fans want eyebleed entertainment as the long term option? If we're looking at a long term replacement (which i believe we should), then i'd imagine we'd be after another DF-esque type manager perhaps?

I guess the choice is:
a) style
b) effectiveness
c) both (in which case, expect to pay richly for their services)
d) unproven - got more chance of Donald Trump & Elton John exchanging wigs

Not unless it's a 'stopgap' appointment till later in the season of course
If i look in pain it's because i'm thinking

Yes, but dont forget it`s JR`s money, and he has burnt quite a lot of it on MTFC for very little return.

I think the question should be who would want to come and work here? Huge social media campaign for Flitcroft to be sacked and replaced with John Dempster. Now everyone wants him gone too, not only to lose his job but also actually be dead. Who would want to be a Mansfield Town football manager eh? Not exactly the most inviting job description.

I'd like Parkin, he wasn't well liked by the players when here last time, maybe a good thing.

Has worked in the Championship and gained experience since leaving us.

Thanks. That’s literally the funniest thing I’ve read on the internet this year.

A LOT of people who wanted DF out also wanted to give JD a chance in charge.

He didn't turn down Lincoln.

Lincoln shortlisted Appleton, Campbell, Flynn and Ainsworth, Appleton is going to get the job I heard, Ainsworth got offered the job but wanted to bring loads of staff with him.

It was reported a 'unnamed club' approached him and he turned it down, it was rumoured to be Lincoln but it's not always the most obvious one that's correct.

Plan B? Eh, Tippy Tappy????

What makes you think the rapper/actor Benjamin Paul Ballance-Drew, (Aka Plan B) star of ‘The Sweeney’ remake, would make a good replacement manager?

Surely recent events have proven that untried rookie managers may not make the ideal candidate to get us promoted. Let alone someone whose only experience is being Ray Winstons side kick.

I expected better of you Tippy.
