In relation to the club's history O'Connor isn't even a bit player. Most wouldn't be able to recall his name unless it was in front of them and he wouldn't get into the top 100 players to have played for the club.

DF came across as annoyed with them in his interview. Maybe this is a response from that. He picked up on the ''history not in Mansfield's favor article'' Surely your local paper should not be adding to drivel we are going to hear all night from the pundits on Sky.

Maybe John Lomas assumed that having been born in Nottm., played for the Stags, and now working in Mansfield, Aaron O'Connor might
have had something positive to say about MTFC, and wished them well.
When it became obvious he had no intention of doing that, Lomas should have just binned his article.
All it's done now is to make John Lomas and the Chad even more unpopular amongst Mansfield fans.
