It's a state of mind

Postby arsene wengers coat » Sun May 05, 2019 12:00 pm

Said it before, but against Stevenage and again yesterday, we never looked like we believed we could or would do it.

Self belief is a fundamental requirement for any sort of success in any part of your life.

The club need to understand what it is that is making us play like we are. What can we do to take the shackles off and start playing without fear? It's debilitating us.

What ever Flitcroft says or how they are preparing isn't working because time after time when there has been a large and expecting away crowd, the team just haven't performed or even got the points.

It's unlikely to be fixed overnight, but a psychologist needs to prepare the team before the playoffs. Yesterday we never got close to scoring in a game where a goal was enough. A goal would have totally changed it, but for some reason, we seemed unable to create, and not because MK were particularly good.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I think that is a valid point. It's happened too many times lately. The problem is the more it happens the longer it will take to put right. The worrying thing is it isn't just the young players affected by it.

Would be more valid if he hadn't written us off pre match and already written off our play off hopes. One of the forums most negative posters going on about self belief. Irony overload.

Don't let facts get in the way of your preconceptions, eh, Jamie.

I'm pretty sure AWC isn't taking part in the team talks Jamie.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

Everyone is saying that we "bottled it" ............... but could the truth be that we are not good enough?
