Does anyone really believe that the final will be anything but Tranmere v Newport??
Or that our Manager can motivate this group of bottlers in any way whatsoever when clearly, apart from a couple of results, he has singularly failed to do that since the New Year?

Back them until it’s over...nows not the time to cast doubt.
I was feeling sore and hurt after the weekend but how we must move onto the next challenge.

The form book and recent performances suggest that we won't do it. However ..... we are capable of getting a draw or at least a 1-0 defeat at Newport (remember that we have not been beaten by more than a goal this season) - and then do the business at home. The final will then be a test of nerves (hopefully we have learned something from the MK Dons game).
It might not look likely at the moment, but we are certainly capable of getting through via the play-off's. We need an injection of confidence right now - and that will come from trying to control games more and attack with greater purpose. We must defend resolutely away at Newport, after that we need a confident attacking mentality.

Ideally Stags V Tranmere would be best.
Wembley would look empty if we got the vegans.
Bet they'd struggle to shift 4000 tickets.

It’ll look empty, whoever’s there.

Should never be at Wembley.plenty of stadiums could host the finals in the lower leagues.

Should be at Villa Park or Hillsborough.
Wembley should be for Cup Finals and International games only.

I think Stadium MK is a valid venue for big matches needing a neutral ground

Think Notts County’s ground would be sufficient although Notts police would move it to a 11pm K/O ..

Why shouldn't it be at Wembley? It's about the only chance average fans (i.e not Man Utd/City/Arsenal etc) get to see their team there.
Also how would the stadium pay for itself without the revenue from these events? 3 games pay quite a bit into the coffers and that's not counting non-league stuff.
Hello! Hello! We are the North Stand Boys.

We have no right to assume we will be there Im afraid. Pressure games. We don't do those. We might have a chance if all the play off games were played behind closed doors.

Jesus wept, what a rip off, then travel from Manchester and the Lancashire coast and then they'll moan they've opened it up for 5000.
The play offs are basically a league game so should be league game prices!!!

It's ridiculous how they don't have other options available. As long as both clubs agree to it the conference final would be so much better being played at somewhere such as Blackburn, Bolton, Stoke, Wigan etc.

Exactly. Imagine Carlisle and Grimsby in the final and have to go all that way when manchester,Leeds,Newcastle, etc etc would be better ..doesn’t make sense but it’s all down to the f.a. And money.

£41 is an absolute joke by the way. Fleecing fans just because they can - they don't allow it in other countries and i can't see how they get away with it here.
