MK INFORMATION

MK GAME

Stadium MK is in Denbigh area of MK

Leave M1 junction 14 (be wary from 15a down its 50 mph and cameras are active)

Get in right hand lane on slip road go round roundabout and follow signs CMK (Central Milton Keynes) A509

This will bring you onto H5 Portway.

MK is grid system H roads Horizontal V roads vertical.

Suggest you do not take first sign post to Stadium MK, its magical mystery tour. Carry on H5 Portway over Willen Lake and past Tree Cathedral.

Follow Portway till you reach A5 roundabout take A5 signposted Dunstable. Leave A5 at Stadium MK sign ( Local signage Denbigh/ Blechley) It will bring you to big roundabout and you will see rear of Primark and Next. Go round this and Stadium MK is on left 100 yards.

Two points

1 The dual carriageways are 70mph

2 Dont play roundabout roulette.

PARKING

The stadium is on retail/ leisure park next to Ikea and huge Asda. Parking in the aforementioned is 2 hour on match days. There are lots of eateries TGIF etc.

On match days its two hour parking and number plate recognition in action.

Ask the attendants.

There is limited on street parking but wardens patrol.

PUBS

There are no pubs near ground. There is a supporters bar incorporated into Hilton Hotel The Red Spot. I went to stadium last week for parking permit and guy said he doubted away fans would be allowed in.

The nearest is Inn on the Lake which if you stand rear of stadium near Maccy D cross dual carriageway and go down side street to bottom, turn right. Its about a mile.

Other pubs

Weatherspoons CMK Avebury Boulevard Its called Moon under the Water. Beware some parking outside is premium £3 per hour.

Weatherspoons Midsummer Boulevard (1-300) Nice pub, again watch for parking although its cheaper that above

Weatherspoons Bletchley, Captain Ridleys Shooting Party. On main drag in Bletchley south of Stadium. Bletchley bit of a dump.

Got a feeling Thames Valley Police will send us Midsummer Weatherspoons and Inn on lake

Other pubs.

Most of the estates have their own local pubs Eaglestone (near Hospital) being one

I suggest

The Broughton, in Broughton. Over 18 Sports Bar. Reasonable priced beer large beer garden, sell food also.

Immediately after leaving M1 take Coachway sign then carry on to Barrett offices, turn right, follow signs Broughton Village.

Any questions ask here or PM me.

The red lion in Fenny Stratford, on the canal. Any good?
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Not unless you get taxi to CMK (Central Milton Keynes ) be about a fiver. Ask for xscape loads of eateries and a weatherspoons. I know city and MK North and west best.

Hi all

I am an MK Dons fan who works at the Broughton hotel Hungry Horse in Milton Keynes, I noticed that the OP suggested a visit to the Broughton on Sat.

The broughton is more than willing/able to accommodate large or small groups on Saturday. And we can also provide parking for up to 4 coaches if needed.

However, coaches would need to be pre arranged with us so that we can ensure access. Should anybody wish to book in for large groups or Coaches, please contact us on 01908 667726 or email 6418@greeneking.co.uk

We are located approx 2/3 minutes drive from J14 of the M1. Our postcode is MK10 9AA

Any thing else that I can help with, please just ask

I would wish you luck for Saturday, but based on our current form, I think we need the luck more than you.
