Regardless of what division we are in next season, we face problems.

Namely, the striker situation. Walker will be gone.

Then who knows which of our squad will either be released/refuse to re-sign, or be tempted away. CJ perhaps could have his eyes turned elsewhere like Rose did. He has not been the same since.

We have relied too heavily on the loan market and I firmly believe that a loan player's heart is never in it like a contracted player's is.

If we dont go up, we must keep Flitcroft and give him the resources. If we go up we must try to retain walker, he won't stay another season in L2.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

We haven't relied on the loan market.... only Walker is a key player.

Jones was a must to cover white for the end of the season.
Smith, hardly made a difference and was needed for cover.
Grant has been anonymous and hardly played
Ajose was for cover and hardly played.

Clear the deadwood fringe players, sign a quality striker sign a couple other additions sorted.

Then there was elsnik who was moved on and Sweeney who signed on permanent.

There has been a lot of loan activity. We have been at the 5 man threshold all season. Too many, too much churn.

There’s nothing wrong with having loanees. If we get promoted we aren’t going to be a big draw to players, particularly in our first season. We will be reliant on picking up some good loanees.

The Stevenage game sadly is a pressure one now and it need not have been but we are where we are.
Keeping the faith but its going to be a crawl over the line with other results being important and have a nasty play off feeling of dread.
The striker for next season is top priority for league 2 or league 1.
Walker has done very well but needs another more prolific goal man if there is one to be had.

Other results are not at all important. It's in our hands.

This season isn't done yet, stop panicking about who we will and who we wont have next season. Walker is the only loanee that is really in the team out of choice, and obviously grant keeps getting a chance.

Jones is cover for white, smith ( Who isn't even playing) for Bobby, Elsink could argue was for macca, Ajose was for the injuries we had and he hardly featured.

No sitting back on 1-0 on Saturday! Keep the ball on the ground and play our normal game and we will be ok. Darren Drysdale the ref by the way

Hardly relied on them though have we... teams mostly been made up of permanent signings.

All the teams around us,apart from Lincoln, are all under pressure to win

We need to create a positive atmosphere on Saturday to ease the pressure off the manager and players.

Keep the faith.

Would agree about the loanees to a certain extent but I think most of them have embraced the club well and made a decent contribution and I think really do want to be a part of a promotion winning side esp Walker as it will be good for his CV.

Is Jones a loanee??
I thought he was released from his contract and we signed him permenantly

Jones is on loan from Fleetwood until the end of the season
