No relegation from league two.

Shame on sky sport for having a countdown clock, it’s sky that ruined football and anyone who pays to watch should realise that...once sky got involved in football it was the end of the game as we know it..good luck Bolton and Bury.

To a large extent I echo some of your sentiments regarding Sky TV, however this sort of thing must have happened before Sky came along too.

last thing we need is a midget in midfield!

Defender Adam Thompson would have been a better option. He only missed two league games for Bury last season. He signed for Rotherham today.

All in the name of business.

All football clubs are Limited Companies and the EFL is just a collection of owners running a competition to make money for their businesses.

It just needs some moral owners to take charge and bring discipline to the organisation and create rules that eliminate the spivs.

The problem is there enough of the 72 to make a difference and vote in strict rules to prevent the spivs access to the gravy train.

If not it means that the majority are spivs themselves and don't want the strict rules.

Exactly, and so there will be no change unless there is some form of external force, which would probably mean an Act of Parliament, but i cannot foresee that ever happening.

The EFL are absolutely pointless, they’ve no absolutely no purpose at all.

If they wanted to hurt dale they’d have done it all by now, they’re full of threats and nothing else. The fact the company who wanted to purchase bury had a deeply flawed business model (shown in the manchester evening news) won’t detract as the EFLs fit and proper rest is pointless and it’s kicking the can Down the road

EFL’s “deadlines” are very strange. A bit like the 7 minutes of added time in the second half tonight!

Bury have quite rightly been kicked out of the Football League. I feel very sorry for Bury fans but I also feel sorry for JR and DF. If the EFL had intervened in December/January we would probably have been celebrating promotion at MKDonalds FC

Have some perspective and class. Some of our fans behave like spoilt brats, demanding justice for not going up when the real victims are the Bury staff and supporters. Today is about them.

Absolutely gutted for them and every stag should be thankful we never went the same way rather than being angry we didn't go up. Yes it was wrong that we were robbed of promotion but in the grand scheme of things it doesnt really matter, we still have a team to watch. RIP bury, and shame on the efl for allowing this disgrace to happen.

We WERE robbed. By our own form in the last 12 games. Not Bury’s fault.

It is a sad day for football. It's the correct outcome but very harsh for the staff and fans to take. Hopefully the fans can stick together, reform and work there way back. I wish them all the best. Losing your job isn't nice whatever the wider situation.

The EFL don’t come out of this with any credit, or credibility. Their governance is woeful.
