Its a) the game in hand on Bury that would move us 3 behind and also b) MK are at Morecambe which is as "winnable" as our game at Crawley - tonight can either get us right back in it, or really deal a big blow to top 3 chances that we probably wouldn't recover from.
A big performance is needed from both the players and the manager - time to stand up and be counted

Dream on Spanish, overhauling an 8 point gap with 10 games to go is a very tall order. Lincoln will pick up more points than us anyway till the end of the season. When they're not 'at it' they seem to grind something out. Us, well just look at the Clownty and Vale games
Was about to say - we've managed to blow an 8 point gap from 4th - let alone make it up

Let's hope none of our players go out wearing tights and gloves either. Only softies wear tights and gloves, and tonights not going to be a night for softies.

Wouldn't it be better if it were off looking at our lack of defensive personnel ?

It’s a tidy little ground, one of my favourites in League 2.

The weather is going to play a massive part in this game.
At least we are not traveling to Carlisle.
0-0 could be the result or postponed.
Sooner travel to Carlisle than Crawley from Mansfield, much less traffic especially at the time of day required for an evening kick off, quicker and less miles.

That may well be the case, but if you did, you’d be at the wrong ground!

Was thinking more about weather for the game.
60mph winds at Carlisle, looks quite good for Crawley game though not sure about the pitch though.
Safe journey to all concerned.

That line up doesn't look great.
Time for turner to shine.

For most of the season our back line has been the best in the league... now it’s been ripped to bits by injuries.
Having Olejnik, White, Preston, and Sweeney out is pretty awful considering replacements are Jones and Turner who have shown nothing and also meaning Pearce and Benning have had to switch positions.
Will feel better if we line up as a 4, but if we are shoehorning a back 5 again then we could be all over the shop.
Turner and Jones need to show us what they are made of now.

I am nervous at that line-up, hopefully it’s a genius and not a idiot move for DF - could go either way!

Logan!? Fans of his old teams have always told me when things go wrong he always bombs out the goalkeeper.

At least it's fairly flexible and could be a 4-42 or a 5-3-1-1 or 5-3-2.
I can't really see us playing a 1 up front as we have no one capable of playing the lone striker.
Fingers crossed we get something from the game.

If you were Crawley you’d just lump the ball into the box at every opportunity - hopefully he’s learned to catch and come off his line since he last played

To be fair, our “best lineup” have been dropping points for the last few weeks.
