Considering how long he's been out injured, that was a hell of a finish. A fit Macca is like a new signing. He could be pivotal in our push for promotion.

Absolutely, should bishop get suspended before the cut off, having him in the team would be an ideal replacement

Just an absolutely brilliant heart warming moment.....you could equally feel the ground holding its collective breath and urging him on at the same time hoping he could do it after all hes been through and what a sublime finish ........just so pleased for AM

The final pieces of the jigsaw came on yesterday. Atkinson was terrific in the second half, but Maccas energy, strength and personality lowered my blood pressure for the last few minutes. Well done lads.

Almost shed a tear yesterday when Macca scored. I was so pleased for the lad. He has had months of hell and you could almost see a huge weight being lifted off his shoulders celebrating his goal. Unbridled joy. Great to see.

No, he's an attacking midfielder/winger, not a centre midfielder, as yesterday proved.

But Tomlinson can cover the Bishop role. In fact Bishop was quiet because Tomlinson is taking some of the work off him. He was brilliant yesterday imo.
