Lee Mason Referee

Postby Kernow » Fri Feb 15, 2019 5:46 pm

A ref from a higher level , who gave the dive penalty against Forest for WBA. Admitted he made a misktake and reputation as a homer. Looking like 12 v 11 COYS

He's a good ref, a step up from the normal dross at this level in my opinion

Every ref makes mistakes. Don’t blame Lee Mason, blame the player for diving and conning everyone. Hate diving players. 10 game ban minimum would help imo.

Think it's a good thing . Stead gets blown over by a bedwetter unscrewing his flask, and Mason will be keen not to give another soft one .

You should have a go at reffing Martin, it's not as easy as you think and made harder by cheating footballers. Most refs I've seen at this level this season have been far from dross.

it's definitely not easy. The last 4 games however have seen a succession of refereeing mistakes. Less likely tomorrow with a Premier League ref, though can still happen of course.

He’s blowing up at anything remotely 50/50. Doyle’s walking around leaving one on every player after the ball goes

No idea why a ‘senior’ refs punishment for making a mistake in a higher league is to ref a lower league game. What have we done to deserve him?

I'd imagine Martin is embarrassed by his post. Very rarely have I seen a refereeing performance so poor.

Not one player turned up for the Stags....

Can't blame the referee for Stags players not wanting the ball...

I'm not blaming the referee at all - Stags should have been down to ten men after 10 minutes and maybe nine after Mellis' lunge.
