Clownty scorefred sponsored by Great Boo's up

Postby Spiritater » Wed Feb 13, 2019 8:56 pm

After The One's wishy washy attempt last week and the lack lustre performance it fredded I thought we'd better get the fred up on the fred's proper day... Wednesday.
Nothing can go wrong now can it. We're 2nd for a reason and Clownty are bottom for a reason and but for Big John missing the peno at Lane t'other week they'd just have that one flukey result at FGR. We've nothing to worry about. Let's burst their bubble and bring them back to reality. If I were a Pie I'd be thinking, 'it's gonna be tough'.

Hmm Maybe if you knew what day it was and we did not wear crappy green kit it would have been different.

A draw is the worst possible result there so why settle for that? :D

How many Notts players would get into a combined side? Not many, if any....so man for man we are better and should really get all three points. Comfortable 7-0 win.

Seriously, I wouldn't take a single Notts player. Not 1.

We will thump them, 5-0.

Would take that Ben!

Not sure what to expect given clownty’s recent upturn and their fans optimism, I now sit opposite one at work so it means a bit more than usual to me. You’d hope we’d be more up for it and with it after the Newport showing! So I’ll go for 2-1 win but I’d happily take a draw just to avoid the office ‘banter’

If we live by the "Ex-Players always score" scenario, to cause added heartreak to any result, then surely we should be looking at:

Notts County 1 (Hemmings)
Mansfield Town 3 (Pearce, Bishop, Grant)

This is probably the most important "derby" game for both sides in years, with so much riding on it, so expect cards, bad tackles, poor decisions and 97 minutes of anxiety.

County 2 Hemmings Rose
Stags 4 Grant Pearce Bishop Smith (with an Alan Marriott type goal to finish it off)

We might have enough if Walker, Ajose, Grant or CJ are on form. I think 2-1 to us, but i can see Boldewijn maybe getting one. Then again, it'd be usual irony for Hemmings to nick one, or Mackail Smith to probably score his only goal of the season.

So i'm going 2-1 to us, but i could also see 2-2 being very possible

We've a better squad and starting 11 than them, pretty simple that one.

Will everyone play as well as they can, will County play up on their big day? who knows.

Shouldn't be losing here

Now I dont want to be cocky but I’m going for a 15-1 win to stags, 8-0 at half time hardy sacks Ardley in the dressing room and puts himself in as manager. They have Doyle and Mckail-Smith sent off. Hardy pulls the plug and they go out of business.

Back to reality tough game 2-1 to us

It's quite funny to see County's twitter feed hyping this game as the big Notts derby ever, after their fans constantly tell us they don't care about us and it's our cup final etc.
