The 50% is a really interesting move. Not seen such a high percentage but well worth the gamble it suggests.

He's just saying even if there was a 50% sell on it would be a good deal. Not read about any details of the sell on, though I am sure Stoke will have insisted on one, he's only 21.

I'm surprised Jones didn't want to take a look in the summer. I've seen Stoke live this season and Ashley Williams is terrible, Shawcross is finished and Martins Indi is not interested. They've just signed Danny Batth from Wolves who is solid at that level but not spectacular.

Ill be watching this lad closely. If ge turns out as classy a footballer as his grandfather he'll be well worth a look.
