I wouldn’t let him go now unless we were able to sign a ‘target man’ type player on a permanent as an option off the bench to replace him. If we were to suffer an injury we’re back to square one as we can’t count on Davies playing any major part this season in my opinion.

Bishop is there...
Can't leave Mal out. He's one of our most consistent performers and arguably our best. I think the only answer is to switch to a back 4 and sacrifice either Sweens or Preston. On current form, I'd leave out Preston.
