video: Forest Green game

my highlights of Forest Green abandoned game, which I hope capture the mood: camera covered in raindrops, all the best comedy slides, player running with the ball and leaving it behind, and of course all the goal chances for both sides.

Watching that game gave me a headache. Camera had to be wiped at every break in play. If it was pointing towards our defence then you wouldn't even think it was raining. When we attacked you could see how bad it was.

I was composing a text message to you as the announcement came over. I was going to say that with the wind and rain in our favour we should win this. The only downside was the standing water looked far worse down that end of the pitch. especially down their right and our left.

I know exactly where you are coming from Sina Stag. Great memories from the 70's! However, don't you think that our more skillful ball-playing team might have a better chance of getting the vital 3 points under more appropriate conditions? - For that reason, I was happy for the game to be re-played under more suitable conditions.

For your reasons VP I totally agree with your valid point...

However

Entertainment value I'll take the Stags v Spurs game every day of the week.....
