Absolutely awful news. Has been a massive part of our success. New keeper needed in January now.

Terrible news and hugely frustrating. Since he has come in to the team we have looked far far better.

Logan has to step up now, but I’d be looking in January without a doubt now, not sure the defenders have the same level of trust in him.

Damn that’s bad news his distribution and him being comfortable on the ball has in my opinion been a huge part of our good season ........new keeper in jan is a must as Logan’s a liability in my opinion

What about Sam Wilson stepping up to the bench

We’ve got to get someone in.

Maybe the young lad it’s too early, and Logan has established he’s clearly not good enough (unless he’s worked out what a cross is).

Gutted for Bobby though

Logan has to step up sharpish or a new keeper in Jan.

Having flashbacks of Colchester
He’s got a big part to play for a few weeks at the very least now, really hope he takes his chance well.

Could Jordan Smith be a possibility on loan from Forest? Went on emergency loan to Barnsley recently, made a fair few starts for Forest too. Jake Kean free agent.

Absolutely gutted.

He’s been a main reason in my opinion we have looked so solid. His distribution is top notch and starts so many attacks with his quick thinking.

How’s the time to support Logan and Wilson IMO.

He won't change his style and the defence have no confidence in him on crosses or balls over the top for him to 'sweep' up. He's so overweight and cumbersome it's unreal.

Maybe they’ve been doing training behind the scenes.

If he still lumbers on his line and there’s defensive chaos every time a ball comes in it’s a no

That is awful news - Bobby is an excellent keeper, and it is no coincidence that our form improved dramatically when he became our No. 1 keeper.

I agree with the comments about Logan - he doesn't come for crosses and the defence have no confidence in him. And we can't be throwing in a youth team keeper at this stage if we are serious about promotion.

Hopefully we can bring in a top keeper in January.

There's an easy way,
There's a hard way,
And there's the Mansfield Town way.

Absolutely gutted for him and the team.

It completely changes our dynamic as a team for the remainder of the season and will need Logan to step up big time.

Good luck Conrad.

this is absolutely terrible news Bobbys quick distribution has been a very major part of how we play, Logan is most defiantly NOT what is needed
will we ever be able to pick up a keeper who can distribute as good as Bobby?

What raspberry news
Our time will come

Jake Kean was training with us a couple of months back. Gutted for Bobby, he has looked the complete goalkeeper. Logan isn't bad at all, he needs to be a lot more commanding.

I was saying at the weekend that the Stags have two top quality experienced keepers and that Bobby Olejnik and Conrad Logan as a pair are probably the best keepers the Stags have ever had. Normally the Stags have had a very good No 1 keeper and then a young inexperienced keeper as a back up. Bobby has done a great job but it is now time for Conrad to step up and deliver.

Conrad's distribution is excellent. He's one of the best kickers in the league.

I absolutely agree with this, Conrad is a great keeper at this level who just made a couple of errors (as all keepers do) and Bobby grabbed his chance magnificently. I have no concerns at all with Conrad taking over and suggest some of you above get behind him. He is a fantastic shot stopper and his distribution is generally excellent, yes I think Bobby is the more dominant, but I am not at all worried. One of the few decent things Evans did for our club (and there weren't many) was bringing in two good keepers.
