Or simply 'CHIEF CHIEF CHIEF' just as we used to sing Rhys Days name to him!

I think if we were to lose either "the bish" or "the chief" at this moment we'd be royally up the creek, so for me it's a draw.

I reckon it's more the fact that Bish is there as a bedrock that gives Mellis greater freedom to play his game.

Time for a classic about a former great central defender and captain to be revived and adapted I believe.

I'd have to flip a 3-way coin between Bish, Pearce and CJ. I literally cannot choose. I think this is my order

Bish is the cog - He does the part of the game which doesn't really get noticed.
CJ excites me most - as mentioned unplayable on his day
Pearce is just an absolute beast complimented even more by the addition of Matt Preston and Sweeney.
Jacob Mellis - been like a brand new signing

A few have been signing the Jaap Stam Song for Pearce. Good tune!

Tbf Bobby in goal has made a massive difference akin to De Gea at United or Allison at Liverpool. The confidence he gives the defenders must be huge!!!
Well done Bobby.

Sorry James, I clearly forgot all of our songs were cutting edge original. Thank goodness "Since I was young" and "Everywhere we go" isn't sung at every single ground whenever you watch a televised game.

Bishop. He's the League Two, shortly to be League One, Tony Kroos.

Keep him until he hangs up his boots then get him on the coaching staff. He's a diamond.

My average ratings for the games I have watched live or on iFollow are:

Alex MacDonald 7.88
Krystian Pearce 7.71
Jacob Mellis 7.58
CJ Hamilton 7.52
Bobby Olejnik 7.46
Neal Bishop 7.41
Matt Preston 7.37
Ryan Sweeney 7.3

I would vote for Krystian Pearce at the moment as he has played far more games than Macca.

If I adopt the Lincolnshire Echo system for choosing the Player of the Season (3 points for MOM, 2 points for 2nd, 1 point for 3rd) then I would get the following:

1st Krystian Pearce - 18
2nd Jacob Mellis - 14
3rd= CJ Hamilton and Neal Bishop - 12

If you apply the same system to the Stagsnet ratings then you get:

Neal Bishop - 26
CJ Hamilton - 21
Krystian Pearce and Bobby Olejnik - 18
