I see DF's been nominated for SkyBet Manager of the Month for November. I do hope he doesn't get it as it usually gives the recipient a kick in the skcocllob pretty soon after

No. We are bound to lose a game at some point. As long as we don’t lose too many we will be fine. The fact that DF has been nominated for motm means we are doing well. I hope he gets nominated every month until the end of the season.

Someone recently produced a report on the New Manager effect and showed that it didn't really exist. I wonder if anyone has looked into the MOTM effect to see if there's any truth in it? Perhaps it only applies to us, but we rarely have to worry about it.

Hope he gets it in recognition for the brilliant job he's done in the last month. No such thing as jinxes.

So the ‘Curse of the Manager of the Month’ is nothing to do with all the Romanian Gypsies you see in towns these days?
I think you will find it is and that will put all the amateur statisticians out of a job!!

he's got no chance of winning with 3 wins from 7 in November, he's a name on the list that's all, to make up the numbers.

Well seeing as it's League 2 manager of the month, it's actually 2wins and 2 draws but don't let that get in the way of a Flitcroft rant.

wasnt a dig yella and even 8 points from 12 is not enough to win MOTM.

But is clearly good enough to get nominated so credit where it's due. I agree though he won't win it.
We had a good month and our recent form in the league has put us right in contention. He's certainly shut a few doubters up (myself included). Fair play to him and long many it continue.

Hmmm, so even a nomination for MOTM has left DF doubled over clutching his nether regions then
