Norwoods contract's up in the summer also says in the article a January move could be on the cards.

Its a confidence thing, like with most strikers, give a lad a break

Also, we have a top 3 budget and still cannot afford to bring in a quality striker. jUst goes to show what a premium they are and indeed, how much they must be getting paid

What do you think Tyler Walker was signed as?

We will only be paying part of his salary.

He was brought in as a player with the potential to be lethal at this level.

Disappointingly he has proved an average player, but not the one who can fire us to promotion.

Great squad player

Needs to stay on his feet a lot more instead of always looking for the free kick. Refs have got wise to him

True we are only paying part, but that is still rumoured to be £4600 a week. This was our big striker signing. Whether it has worked out or not is another discussion but he's got twice as many as Akinde. Even Rose has only one less than Akinde, a supposed quality striker for this level.

I think Akinde would have scored loads more if he had been playing for us.

Take off those "rose" coloured specs and sell him if we can.

we need to be buying another striker to help the others out when they're not performing, not selling them.

He'll go higher than us, besides Tranmere are a bigger club than us so why would he come here.

I`ve always seen Danny as an attacking midfielder. He is excellent in the air!

He changed the game against Lincoln last season and it was the start of his run of good form from then on. Here's hoping for the same on both counts.

He'd have a better chance of scoring if he wasn't always lying down.

Watching the replay the vale keeper made some excellent saves on another day Rose would have netted atleast 2.

Hardly overnight though is it. A slow but steady decline instead of the improvement we all expected.

This type of slip usually happens to younger players like Gary Castledine and Jack Thomas for example. Set off at a storming pace but unfortunately fizzle out. I think it's just happened to Danny at a later stage in his career. I do hope he bags a hatful and proves me wrong though.

Funny Woodclanger? Gary Castledine was being watched by a top team, but our Manager put the boot in!

He’s been poor first half. Spent most of his time with his hand in the air, whining

PS. Ref Norwood, Tranmere aren’t a bigger club than us.

I see his only strengths as good in the air and snapshot finishing which he's been cack at.

Definitely not a midfielder of any sort, he's not great with the ball at his feet or running with it.

He gave it everything today. The best thing Walker did all day was celebrate in front of the Lincoln fans.

Rose is out of form. He dived whilst on a yellow today too. Still kept going and put the ball in for the equaliser

Rose needs a break and quick, hope it arrives sooner rather than later as his extra goals would make us almost unbeatable.
One thing in his favour is his 100% effort, even when things aren't going well.
